Honor The Call

I haven’t written in a while because I really (If Im being honest) haven’t felt the need to; but today is different. Today I feel I have the call, so I must answer.

Over the past few months my emotions have been a roller coaster ride, as so much of the collective is rising to be transmuted. Last month was the month of grieving for me, did you feel it too? It’s not that I was depressed, and no one had passed away but it was something that I just needed to do. I have lost so much in my life, even though I have gained so much from those losses, it seemed I have never grieved them. Understanding this came as a surprise to me, I always celebrated the lessons I had learned from each experience but how could I of been so blind to not fully feel what got me there.

It’s quite incredible when you take time to reflect on how far you’ve come. Taking some time for myself, I felt everything fully & completely; I allowed my tears to flow freely. I felt grief from things I thought I had let go of, years ago. It is always such a beautiful experience when you simple are, and this was no exception.

Currently, I have been feeling heavy sadness in the collective, and in my soul family. We all have a little piece that is ours, though some take on a little more to lighten the load for another. We are all working together to transmute this sadness, so that more light and love can make it way to all of us. By doing your work, you not only helping yourself but you help those connected to you. This is currently where I’m at, doing my work so that more love makes its way in (that is what life is all about after all). We all have a place to fill, and work to do & by listening when spirit calls you’re doing so much for the world, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Any act of healing and letting go, no matter how small makes an impact.

We are the children of our great mother. As we heal ourselves, we heal her. As we connect to her, we connect to ourselves. As we feel her love, we know we can never be without. As we honor her, we honor ourselves. Mother gives us all that we need, but what do we give her in return?

That is what I was leave you with, a thought provoking question.

Freedom

Today is all about Freedom. It’s a theme that keeps coming up for me, as I’m sure many of you are experiencing the same theme in your life. With all the shifts and events happening in the universe that affect us here on earth, it is hard to stay the same. More and more we are being pushed to emerge from our shells, and step out of our comfort zone. Many of us are very resistant to the process of the universe; thus making it so much harder on ourselves. The time has come, things….we are changing. As we wake up from our sleep state, as we begin to feel energy, to look for deeper meanings, and the answers to who we are within; we can find freedom. A sense of liberation, that makes us feel alive and free; but with this comes responsibility.

The responsibility to take ownership of everything we bring (manifest) into our life and everything we say and do. There is no more victim state, there is only you….there is new ways of thinking and being. Taking yourself out of the moment to reflect before you act, to think to yourself “Okay, now why did this happen? What am I being shown or taught?” With being awakened, you become a beacon of light and of love. You begin the journey you were meant to take; the journey you choose for yourself before you came here. The journey of unlearning everything you were taught that doesn’t resonate with you, of becoming everything you were meant to be. To become a beautiful masterpiece.

It’s along this journey that freedom finds you. Freedom from a job that doesn’t fulfill you, from friends (and maybe even family) that are toxic to your wellbeing, from everything that does not fill you with beautiful light and love. And over time you will find freedom to step outside of your comfort zone, and try something you never thought you would. That is where I am at in my journey, taking my next steps (or leveling up) in my faith and belief in the universe, and myself. I must say, being outside of my comfort zone has been very nerve wreaking and scary for me but I keep reminding myself to be fearless. There is nothing here to fear, it is only because it is unknown that I am fearful and that will surely pass as I learn how to navigate this new terrain.

We all have to start somewhere, and work our way through it. Learning and growing as we go. Experiencing the world with different eyes from one day to the next. So much can happen in a day, that we never leave it the same way we entered it. Even if the changes are so small we don’t notice them, each day affects us and in some way changes us; but what most don’t see is that we have the freedom to make our day the best day or the worst day. We can choose if the actions of others will affect us or not, we choose every part of our life. That is why freedom, is so powerful gift; a gift that is mostly taken for granted.

Free yourself from yourself, get out of your way and see what happens. Think before you act off of muscle memory. Not everything needs to be defended, and not everything is worth getting upset over. Save your energy for things that matter, save your energy to spread love. It’s what we all crave, but rarely receive.

Blessings.

Female Inspiration

Why are woman portrayed as Weak and Powerless?

Why are women taught that one day a man will come into your life and save you from yourself?

The way I see it is women are a force to be reckoned with we are healers, lovers powerhouses, beauty, givers of life and so much more. We are only weak when we do not step into our power. We are only powerless when we tear down others instead of spreading beautiful love that we carry within us. We do not need a man to fulfill us or to save us. We are capable of saving ourselves because we carry our own sword.

Remember a king needs a queen but a queen does NOT need a king

Tides of change…

For the past few weeks, I have felt changed. I have felt it so much that it has been all I have written about. So many things are not as they used to be, and I have learned so much from this. With the 11:11 gateway that was just a few days ago, and the new moon coming this Saturday the energies of newness are in full force.

Among all the lessons I have learned through this time of transformation one stands out among the rest. So often we get caught up in the destination that we do not enjoy the journey. We ask so many questions of where we will be, that we forget to simply allow things to play out. The outcome isn’t all that important, the whole point of the journey is to learn, grow and evolve. Which we cannot do if we are forcing knowing and understanding. Some things, especially in the spiritual sense, do not make sense. They are not meant to, it is our minds that need this understanding, this logical proof. Spirit is not interested in that of the mind, only in the evolution of the soul. The soul knows exactly what it needs, and if you listen you’ll know what that is.

It’s so funny, even though I am aware of this I still ask questions. I still remain curious about what beautiful things are waiting for me. I am only human but I suppose the difference is I am simply curious where things stand in the present moment; as things always change. When we stop asking questions, and listen to ourselves this is when we will find all the answers we seek. Trusting in our intuition, and following what it tells us. It is often the hardest things to trust, because the mind, the ego, says otherwise.

As for me personally, I am not the same person I was and for that I am grateful; but with this change comes many other emotions. This is not where I thought I’d end up, I did not think that I would be starting my life over. All the grand illusions I once had, have washed away with the tide. What remains are the simple desires of life; being happy, fulfilled, love, and living life. I have never been one to want a huge house on the hills, with all these material things. I have always wanted simplicity, but now I want even less. I have let go of so much of the past and old patterns of being that I see now what I truly need; and it is not much.

I see fully what is holding me back, and what I need to do but damn, if that isn’t a big leap. I will undoubtedly do what needs to be done, even if it may be the hardest things I have had to do. I have been in this place before and I will always put myself first. I am the only one who can create the life I wish to have so I have no problems chasing after all that I desire.

I love all of you, I wish all of you the best in this journey. Remember to make your new moon intentions Saturday. This will be the best time to bring anything new into your life. ❤

Times of transformation…

On Wednesday I got one of my attunements for my reiki master class. The last time I got a reiki attunement was four years ago, when I finished level two. It took me months to feel anything from it; but this time it totally different.

This time it took a matter of hours to start feel myself being cleansed. It started with my sinuses acting up but that has now subsided. The main issues I have felt today besides being tired is my throat hurting. It hurts to the point that I have all but lost my voice, when it was fine yesterday. Thinking about this actually makes me smile in gratitude. I know that I am adjusting to the new state of being and existing and that this is a needed part of my beautiful transformation. I believe my throat is being cleansed for one of two reasons; either I need this time to be still, to be quiet with my thoughts or  it is to rid myself of the blocks in my communication so that I may easily and accurately express the ways I am feeling.

I have always had a hell of a time saying how I feel, which I have always found rather funny, since writing comes so easily to me. Everything I don’t know how to say just seamlessly pours out of my fingers with ease without thinking twice. Speaking doesn’t do most emotions justice, if something leaves me in complete awe and wonder no words can make you feel that; only energy can make you feel that. When you write you put your energy into it. You leave a little piece of yourself behind in every sentence you write.

Speaking has always been difficult for me as I often trip over my tongue, so to speak, thinking far too fast for my mouth to say how I feel. Often times I am unable to bring myself to say things out loud because than it’s real, and being real can come to a punch in the face at times. I feel everything so passionately and so deeply that every moment touches my soul in a deeply profound way.

The relationships that I have with others are all cherished, my emotions simply run so deeply. That is why this time of reflection is so important for me, this is also why I have felt the need to unplug from the world lately. To get lost in a new experience and see where it takes me; too see what I find.

Life can become so mundane and dull if we allow it to be, often looking beyond the beauty that surrounds us every day. When you see the same things everyday it becomes easy to take them for granted, to lose your appreciation for them. It can become easy to forget why you fell in love in the first place, but only if you allow yourself too.

I often move things around, removing things that no longer make my heart overflow with love. If the things in my home do not add to my happiness or to the love that resides within me, than it has no place in my home or in my heart. This is really true for life in general, if the things and people we surround ourselves with do not aid in our light, and make our hearts overflow with love than they have no purpose in our lives.

It is so simple.

Life is a beautiful work of art, at times it may be abstract and other times it may be realism, either way it is a masterpiece and moves you in some way.

Journey of truth

I read an article yesterday posted by a dear friend, and it got thinking about light workers; even more so than I already had. One of the biggest misconceptions about the road to enlightenment or spirituality is that it’s easy. That it is all about light and love and nothing else. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Take it from someone who has been on her journey for several years now, this choice is not easy in anyway. When you decide to strip yourself of everything you were taught or has ever happened to you, it comes and slaps you in the face; it won’t go away until you let it go. The road to enlightenment isn’t easy, if it was there would be a lot more enlightened people.

This journey, like most of value, is painful, frustrating, ugly, dark and everything in between. Venturing onto the road of enlightenment is truly venturing into the deepest, darkest parts of yourself. This is how transformation accrues; the butterfly isn’t made in the light. The caterpillar first must spend months in the darkness to find her beauty before showing it to the world.  We, humans, are no different. Light is the place of rest, gratefulness, harmony, and love. All of which cannot be appreciated without the lessons of the dark.

As with everything, there will always be people who proclaim to be light workers or enlightened but those that are light workers don’t go around bragging or even saying that they are. Everyone knows their truths, we also know the difference between lies and truths. There will ALWAYS be people who crave attention, and will say anything to get it. I, myself, believe that is very possible that I am a light worker but that isn’t a term that I really use. I simply say I work with the light, the light lives within me, it allows me to use what has been given to me. This is not something that I go around screaming from the roof tops; this is sacred to me. It is a deep part of who I am, and anyone who knows me see that. The right people know, and the others don’t matter.

I often hear “don’t feed that negativity” but negativity is natural. Yes, I do believe that you shouldn’t feed negative energy, such as seeing animals being cruelly treated or go around with negative self-talk in your mind, or complain non-stop about everything. But the point is, it is all a part of life and in being someone aligned with the light you will always experience highs and lows; it’s like a never ending cycle really.  We need to vent, and let out all the negativity. Getting it out of our bodies in a positive way is what’s important. Harboring feelings of negativity and pushing them down, or feeling wrong for having them can be far more damaging than anything else.

What people must realize is the spiritual journey is about unbecoming everything you were conditioned to be. This is why it’s challenging, and downright suck sometimes but once you do the work, the other side of that is a brilliant feeling of euphoria, peace and love. That I can guarantee.

How was your weekend!?

This weekend was packed full of stuff to do, and people to see. On Saturday, my husband and I went to fairy fest. It was our first time going, and I was so excited; so excited in fact that I had a hard time sleeping the night before ( I felt like a little kid waiting for Christmas to come.) It’s a festival where people dress us like fairies, druids or anything really, it in a way reminded me of the renaissance fair. I felt more myself than ever in the outfit I was wearing, I had made a headband just for this occasion which I loved wearing.

It had been raining for days prior to the event so we brought an extra set of shoes to walk in the mud in, I sure am glad we thought ahead. When we got there only four wheel drive vehicles could park in the lot since people were getting stuck. We started walking into the event and all throughout the event there was so much mud it had become unsafe to walk through. They had put straw and some plywood down but they had run out.

As you walked into the event they had a bubble machine throwing out thousands of bubbles, I told my husband “If heaven is a place, it would have bubbles!” He just looked at me shook his head and smiled. Bubbles are magical in large amounts like that, they transform the energy (at least to me anyways.) I saw the lady selling hoops so I made a B line straight to her; I talked to her for a while and picked out a new hoop! I have her card somewhere in my purse; she told me she teaches classes so I am super excited. We walked around and looked at all the shops; most of them were filled with people just trying to get out of the rain. So sadly, I didn’t get to see too much of what they had because of that. I saw my friend there giving readings so we talked to her for a little bit before we left.

As we left the event we noticed that they had stopped letting people in, the field was now not able to have anyone park in it. So people had started to park along the side of the road, and at the bottoms of people’s yards; which resulted in a lot of tickets. They had to cancel the even for Sunday due to the muddy conditions. Which was a shame but I totally understand why they did that.

After we left the festival we had a family cook out at my cousin’s house but I should say I didn’t know how the event would turn out. To my surprise this was one of the nicest get together we have had in a long time. We don’t really see each other much unless someone’s passes away or gets married so it was nice to just talk and visit everyone for no real reason other than us wanting to see each other. We didn’t stay long because we had to let Norm out and it was an hour drive home. It was still very enjoyable.

On Sunday, we volunteered our time to help my friend with her March of Dimes event. It was a decent turn out despite the rainy, windy conditions. The sun did finally show herself toward the end of the event which was a nice treat. It felt good to give back, and help out a friend. I had never volunteered at an event like that before so it was a very pleasant experience. Everything was cleaned up by 3:30 so it wasn’t all day, but by the time 3:30 came around all of us were done for.

So all in all it was a lovely weekend, I got to spend time with all the people I love and cherish. Even if most of my family doesn’t understand me, that’s okay. I still love them regardless.

Love Always. XOXO

At a standstill

We are only two days into the new month and already there is much beauty to be found. The birds are singing their songs, the flowers are blooming, there is a cool breeze blowing and the sun is shining. I feel light and free, expect for one thing…..

Today as I awaken from the night of rest I find myself feeling as if I have come to the end of the road. I have not lost my faith in the universe, or the positive energies that surround me; I simply feel I am at the end of the road I’ve created for myself. When I look down at my feet I see a blacktop road with grass and flowers growing all around it. When I look behind me I see the forest from which I came, and all that I have fought through to get here. I see all the lessons, and growth that I have done while in the forest, and my time there is complete (at least for now.) When I look in front of me I see a wide open filed, with tall grass and wild flowers blowing in a gentle breeze. I am not at a cross roads, I am at a standstill.

I am at a new beginning, this chapter has come to a close and this is where a new starts. When I look out into the open field of opportunity, I see so many paths I could take, but which is right for me, I am undecided. For now, I just rest, I feel the breeze touch my face so gentle, I smell the lovely scents of the flowers, I take a moment to see how far I have come, and what still needs to be done.

It is at the moment, when I feel lost. That my since of purpose has been lost to me and I know must regain what I once saw and felt so clearly. I must reinvent myself, or shed the skin that binds me. I have out grown so much in this life but what I have really changed in the physical world, I hang out with the same people, I do the same things, and I see the same things in my home every day. So with all the growth I have done, I have not changed my surroundings, maybe this is what the new chapter will bring.

For now, I am amazed at how far I have come and who I have become. There is always work to be done, but for now I am grateful for all the lessons the forest has taught me. Without which I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. Tomorrow is another day, and another step forward. I am excited to see what this next chapter holds for me.

Namaste.

April Full Moon

How is everyone feeling since the full moon last night? Did everyone feel the energy she gave off? How did she affect you?

For weeks pervious to the full moon I was feeling foggy, sluggish, exhausted and every bone in my body ached. I was having these bursts of anger coming seemingly out of nowhere; and over the littlest of things. I am not an angry person normally so this was very strange for me. I am usually the person that everyone goes to when they need lifted up, or just need to vent their sorrows. I am seemingly a beacon of light in cloud of darkness; this is why I am protective of my energy. And for the past few weeks I have not been that for everyone, I have been disconnected; wanted to be left alone in my own little world of haze while I undergo this transformation.

I am sure many of you know but for those that do not there are four planets in retrograde along with the full moon; it has been a dozy of a time for me and many others. I saw the effects of these magical energies even in those who are not spiritually minded. It was pretty wild to see, I understood what was happening and why I was feeling this way but for someone who doesn’t have a clue that had to of been an even rougher ride than what I experienced. I saw people getting angry for no reason, being very touchy ready to explode at any time, and just an overall short fuse. People were frustrated but didn’t know why; feeling like a cold was coming on but one never came. I smile as the observer watching all this happen around me, knowing that everything is working itself out the way it needs to.

Yesterday, the day of the full moon I had woken up with the sudden burst of energy; which was more energy than I had had in weeks. The weather could have also played a part in this since it was our first 80 degrees day this spring but it went deeper than that. Everything I had felt over the past weeks was gone, like it was never there at all. I was seeing clearer than before, filled with energy that didn’t seem to dissipate, the anger that had was once filled me was gone. I was happier, lighter and freer than ever before; I knew the first huge step in my transform was complete. I spent the day cleaning the house with the windows and doors open, to let all the fresh air in. When the evening came I prepared my full moon affirmations and all the things I wanted to release; my husband joined me for my ritual which was a nice treat. We light our white candle burned our sage and completed our ritual, as the paper burned I could feel all the energy being released and all the energy the moon had to offer me in its place. I took some deep breathes after it was completed and the candle had been put out, and it felt wonderful.

I told my husband before bed to not be surprised if he felt different in the morning or continue to release throughout the day today. In the middle of the night around 2 am I woke up hotter than hell. I was sweating bullets, had thrown all my covers off and was just lying there tossing and turning. I was unable to get comfortable or cool down, so I got the feeling something was going on beyond my control. About 25 minutes later I cooled off and fell back asleep, so I believe I had a massive release and that was my body way of letting it all go (which is what I asked for.) Funny how those things tend to work out, hence the saying “be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.” I haven’t talked to my husband yet so I am curious how the moons magic has affected him, if at all.

Today I feel better than ever, I have a sense or “feeling” of knowing that positive things are on their way. That everything I have worked so hard for is now ready to give me the fruits of my labor. The best is yet to come indeed, and it’s closer than ever.

Have a spectacular day everyone! Spread some love & some kindness to yourself & to others.
